Amazon increases average pay for warehouse workers and adds free Prime membership perk

That’s correct. Amazon recently announced a pay increase for its warehouse workers. The average starting wage will now be over $18 an hour, up from an average of $17. The company also introduced new benefits such as funding full college tuition. Furthermore, Amazon announced that they will offer free Prime memberships, worth $119 per year, to employees.
