More than 300,000 air fryers sold at Walmart, Target and Kohl’s recalled for burn hazard

Spectrum Brands announced on June 7, 2021 that it was recalling more than 300,000 air fryer units sold at Walmart, Target and Kohl’s due to a burn hazard. The affected products are Farberware 8-Quart Air Fryers, Farberware Air Fryers 5.3 Quart, Kmart White 5.5 Quart Air Fryers, and NutriChef 5.5 Quart Air Fryers. The air fryers have a power cord with exposed wires, which can cause an electric shock if touched. Customers are advised to immediately stop using the air fryers and contact Spectrum Brands for a free repair.
