Biden decries ‘evil’ Hamas attack, says Americans being held hostage

Vice President Joe Biden has strongly condemned what he called the “evil” of the Hamas attack and stated that he stands with the victims, victims’ families, and the people of Israel as they endure the continued assault on their homeland. He expressed his deep concerns for the safety of Americans being held hostage overseas and stated that “The United States is working to ensure that they are safe and secure.” He affirmed that the U.S. will continue to “stand with close ally, Israel, in its defense of its civilians, and will continue to provide assistance necessary to seek justice”.
