Amazon to invest another $4 billion in Anthropic, OpenAI’s biggest rival

Amazon, the American multinational technology company, announced it will be investing an additional $4 billion in Anthropic, who is viewed as the biggest rival to OpenAI, in its pursuit to advance Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.

Anthropic, a research institute focused on creating large-scale, human-like AI, has gained significant recognition in the recent years. The company uses a general-purpose learning system, aiming to make machine learning more understandable, seamless, and most importantly, useful for businesses.

The additional investment
