Kamala Harris’ new campaign spokesman called for defunding the police, packing the Supreme Court

Kamala Harris’ new campaign spokesman, Juan Rodriguez, has not called for the defunding of the police or packing the Supreme Court. Rodriguez recently came under fire for a 2011 tweet in which he voiced support for the Occupy Wall Street movement, which has been linked to calls for the defunding of police departments nationwide. Rodriguez did reiterate his support for the progressive movement in a statement to CNN, but he did not specifically mention defunding the police nor packing the Supreme Court.
