GOP senator roasts John Kerry for jetting off to another climate conference

Senator James Inhofe, a Republican of Oklahoma, recently roasted former Secretary of State John Kerry for attending a climate conference in Iceland. Inhofe, one of the most vocal deniers of human-made climate change, sarcastically remarked that Kerry “must feel he has a special obligation to jet all over the world and lecture the rest of us on global warming.” He went on to criticize Kerry and the Obama administration for “telling everyone else how to live while exempting themselves from their own preachings,” referencing the “high levels of energy consumption” associated with intercontinental plane flights.
