FBI whistleblower calls House GOP ‘soulless demons’ after voting to give the agency a new $300 million HQ

The whistleblower, Ryan Shapiro, called the House Republicans “soulless demons” for their decision to approve the FBI’s plan to build a new $300 million headquarters. Shapiro accused them of ignoring the warnings of Commissioned Studies which said that the budget for the facility was too big and that it would lead to higher crime rates in the area. He went on to criticize members of Congress who have long neglected the problems facing their constituents in favor of corporate interests. Shapiro argued that this decision proved their allegiance lay solely with corporate interests and not with their constituents.
