QCP Capital Does Not Expect Spot Bitcoin ETFs to Hit the Market Until 2024
QCP Capital is a Singapore-based cryptocurrency trading and asset management firm. In a recent report, the firm noted that they do not expect any Spot Bitcoin ETFs to come to market until 2024. According to the report, there are several factors that are preventing a Spot Bitcoin ETF from coming to market, including regulatory concerns, the lack of liquidity, and the fact that the market is still too nascent. The report goes on to note that the US regulator, the SEC, is likely still at least three years away from approving such an ETF, and that even if one did come to market, it would be too risky and illiquid for most investors. The report concludes that investors should not expect to see a Spot Bitcoin ETF until 2024 at the earliest.
