How is the Republican presidential nominating fight not over?

The Republican presidential nominating fight is not over because no candidate has yet won an outright majority of Republican delegates. The Republican National Convention will be held in July, and the delegates will be the ones to officially nominate the Republican presidential nominee. Until the convention, other candidates could theoretically still gain the number of delegates needed to become the nominee, or the remaining delegates may decide to support a single candidate.
