Hamas releases 13 Israeli hostages, 11 others as cease-fire holds

On Tuesday, the Islamic militant group Hamas released 13 Israeli prisoners as part of its cease-fire brokered indirect talks with Israel. The prisoner release came as part of an agreement between Israel and Hamas, that followed a 2014 conflict between the two sides. The 11 others were released as a show of good faith. The prisoners were released to the Israel-Gaza border, where they were taken in by Israeli authorities. It is unclear if or when any more prisoners might be released.
