GT Capital, Federal Land donate 5k Moderna vaccines to Pasay.

GT Capital Holdings and Federal Land Inc. have donated 5,000 doses of Moderna vaccines to the city of Pasay, in a bid to help the local government in its efforts to vaccinate its residents against COVID-19.
The donation was made through the GT Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of GT Capital, and the Federal Land Foundation, the charitable arm of Federal Land. The vaccines were received by Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, who expressed her gratitude for the donation.
“We are grateful to GT Capital and Federal Land for their generous donation of Moderna vaccines to our city. This will go a long way in helping us achieve our goal of vaccinating as many of our residents as possible, and in protecting them from the virus,” Mayor Calixto-Rubiano said.
The Moderna vaccine is one of the most effective vaccines against COVID-19, with an efficacy rate of over 90%. It is also known for its safety profile, with very few reported side effects.
The donation comes at a crucial time for Pasay City, which has been one of the hardest-hit areas in Metro Manila during the pandemic. As of August 2021, the city has recorded over 16,000 cases of COVID-19, with over 500 deaths.
The donation is part of GT Capital and Federal Land’s commitment to supporting the government’s vaccination program and helping the country recover from the pandemic. Both companies have been actively involved in various COVID-19 relief efforts, including the donation of medical supplies and equipment, as well as financial assistance to affected communities.
“We believe that vaccination is key to ending the pandemic and restoring normalcy to our lives. We are proud to support the government’s vaccination program and to help our fellow Filipinos in any way we can,” said Carmelo Bautista, President of GT Foundation.
The donation of Moderna vaccines to Pasay City is just one of the many initiatives that GT Capital and Federal Land have planned to support the country’s COVID-19 response. The companies remain committed to working with the government and other stakeholders to help the country recover from the pandemic and build a better future for all Filipinos.
